Both artists deal with the performing arts in a very concrete or figurative sense:
a tape recorder that reproduces music or voices, a typewriter to write texts, sketches that attempt to capture movement/dance. Both want to preserve something, show something of the past and awaken the viewer's own memories.
Oxford-based Anne Griffiths´ „fridge archive“ transforms domestic appliances into technological tombs, preserving analogue sounds within frozen displays.
Bonn-based Ricarda Rommerscheidt's live dance sketches range from figurative to the almost abstract.
